The Shelfline Compendium exists because we hear from listeners and collectors who want to know more about what they own, what’s worth owning, and how to tell the difference. If you have a correction to share, a shop tip from your own experience, a restoration question, or want to tell us about gear you’ve found, we’re listening.
What We Respond To
If you’ve discovered something the site got wrong, or have a lived example that rounds out our coverage, we want to hear it. Real experience beats theory every time. The same goes for restoration work you’ve completed, equipment recommendations you trust, or sources that helped you figure something out.
What to Expect and When
Response takes time. We read everything, but volume means we can’t reply to every message. If your correction documents a real error, we’ll update the article and mention your input. If you’re sharing expertise or asking us to dig deeper on something, expect a few weeks before you hear back—if your lead becomes a story, we’ll be in touch.
Before You Write
A few things that help us get to yes:
- Be specific — which model, which page, which claim
- Show your source — what did you measure, read, or hear
- Keep it brief — a paragraph beats a novel
- One topic per message — easier to track and to answer
